Last Thursday, a group from the Wesley Ukulele Band went to the MidPen Media Center recording studio in Palo Alto to record the song, "Sukiyaki" (Ue O Muite) for a PBS program celebrating Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander month.......

 On Saturday morning, May 10, nine participants were introduced to Tai Chi led by Dr. Chen, a Tai Chi and Yoga trainer, whose mission is to empower her client’s well-being. Beauty, flowers, tranquility and creativity were enjoyed by all who attended the Umbrella Ministry's first Ikebana or Japanese flower arranging class. Appreciation of nature and a few gentle instructions made for a lovely experience. Misao Kusuda explained how she got involved in Ikebana and was a superior instructor for the 16 participants.
