Lighting the Advent Candle

Lighting the 4th Candle of Advent, the candle of love, were the Tanoue family, Dr. Nathan and  and Kara and their two children. "Love makes us whole. Love restores what is weary. Love is Christ among us,"

"We light this candle of love, giving thanks that God's love renews us--inside and out."

Our congregation was graced by a beautiful solo presented by Jazhara Jones.

Andrea and Kim Smith-Landucci lit the third Candle of Advent, the candle of Joy.  "Joy rises when we stop striving for worthiness and receive grace as a gift. We light the candle of joy, trusting Christ's gentle way will renew our strength and lighten our load."
