I have just received information about the Crop Walk, and now all we need are folks like you!
First, know that Rev. Keith gave a great message last Sunday about following Christ rather than standing on the sidelines. If you watch this video that Keith showed on Sunday, his message had to do with taking action like Christ, and living a sacrificial life just like Jesus, and just like the father in the video.
Secondly, you can help live a sacrificial life by joining us in our CROP Walk, put on by many folks in San Jose. There are two separate sign-ups, so please, click on either one or both.
If you want to walk, click here. Walkers can go at their own pace, and there's a 1-mile and a 3-mile walk. Please note that on the day of the walk, please wear your Wesley Wear T-shirt! Check-in is at 1:00pm at Hoover Middle School (1635 Park Ave., San Jose, CA 95126).
If you want to just donate, click here. At Wesley, we don't fundraise individually but as a church. This form is to make a promise of how much you would like to give. Afterwards, you can either mail or bring the check to the office or drop it off at one of our registration tables on April 17th and April 24th in the Fellowship Hall.
If you want to invite your friends to join TEAM WESLEY in the walk or help contribute to our team, Share this blog: www.wesleysj.net/wellness.
Our first team training walk was a nice trail nearby the Santa Clara Golf and Tennis Facility, nearby Levi Stadium and Baylands park. It was a flat trail that rounded out about 3 miles round-trip. Please Join us on April 9th for our last team training walk!
