Street Closure in Japantown September 22

If you are planning to come to worship on Sunday September 22nd, please know that there is also a community event taking place called Viva CalleSJ. Viva CalleSJ is an open streets program, free to all participants. The programs transforms miles of streets into a temporary park by opening them for people to walk, bike, skate, play and explore San Jose.

Street Closure in Japantown:

Jackson Street from 13th to 3rd Streets; 3rd Street to St. James Street. Japantown will most easily be accessed from the South via 11th St. or from the East via Julian St.

Viva CalleSJ also involves a 5K Run and the course travels through Japantown San Jose via Jackson St. Road access to church may be difficult. Please consult the Viva CalleSJ website and maps provided in order to get to church on time and without difficulty. The 2nd Annual Run Viva CalleSJ 5K Run is sponsored by Casino M8trix and supports the Lustgarten Foundation which supports research for pancreatic cancer.
