Hurricane Dorian Relief

On September 1st, Hurricane Dorian caused vast devastation in the Bahamas leaving 70,000 people in need of immediate relief. The assessments of damage to property and the death toll is still in pro- cess as flood waters slowly recoil. Funding from our United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) are important and immediate ways that United Methodists across the world are united in making a difference in the lives of the victims. United Methodist Volunteers in Mission (UMVIM) and money donated to help in the recovery efforts is vital.

Please contribute to Wesley UMC and earmark your checks and donations for “Hurricane Dorian Disaster Relief” and submit them to the church office and we will forward our collective funds to UMCOR as soon as possible. Thank you for your generosity and concern!
