Class: Introduction to the Church

5 Sessions: Tuesdays at 7pm on September 24 & October 1, 8, 15, & 22

Want to learn some basics about the Bible, Jesus, Christianity, and about Methodism? Want to understand what baptism and membership is all about and what it means to be a part of the church? Are you new to Wesley UMC and want to find out what we believe in and stand for?

If any of these questions strike a chord in you then this class is definitely for you! Please come!

Our scheduled five sessions (Tuesdays at 7pm on September 24, and on October 1, 8, 15, and 22) at church. It will be an open opportunity to learn and to dialogue with others regarding your questions.

For those who are desiring to become baptized into the Christian faith and seeking membership in the church these classes will be an important step in learning about the joys and responsibilities of what it means to be a part of the church. However, please understand that this class is open to all; folks who are just checking out the church, long time members who want to recall some basics about our faith, those who just want to get some new perspective on their own beliefs.

We welcome all into the faith community of Wesley UMC. but we hope in time that all might consider deepening their relationship and participation in the life and calling of Christ by committing oneself to a lifetime of learning and growing in Christ and in the good work of the church among us, in our community and in the world.

If you are interested in being baptized or becoming a member of the church OR want to have your infants or child baptized, please contact Rev. Keith at (408) 355‐0837.
