Rummage Sale Drop Off

Rummage Sale receives goods June 6, 7

Spring is the time for new beginnings like planting a garden, cleaning the house, and of course, helping at the UMW Rummage Sale. For over 45 years the UMW Rummage Sale has raised thousands of dollars for worldwide and local missions programs. It has enabled  our neighbors to shop for household items, toys, children's clothing that they would not otherwise afford.

Many unsold goods are recycled and given to HOPE Services providing jobs for the developmentally disabled while saving our already overtaxed landfills.

Please come help on Saturday, June 8. Help is especially needed for set-up 7:30am-9am, and clean-up Noon to 2pm. Help is also much needed on sorting/pricing days, Thursday-Friday, June 6-7. Sign up in the Fellowship Hall.

Come and join us for a day of fellowship and service. Some of the shoppers have been coming for three generations, just like many of the UMW volunteers and that says a lot.

Please bring rummage items only on Thursday June 6, 9am-5pm, and Friday June 7, 9am-9am. We welcome clean clothing only, small toys, small household items, small appliances and electronics in working condition. We cannot accept e-waste, mattresses, child car seats, cribs, furniture, carpeting, TVs over 21 in., hazardous materials, paint, tires.
