Want To Try a Short Mission Trip?

This is your chance!

Wesley UMC will send a Volunteers in Mission (VIM) team to Mexico again this year for eight to nine days in late-October.

We will likely work on a mission church, a small membership overseen by a Methodist Church. Our coordinators are currently in contact with Bishop Raquel and District Superintendent Narciso in Tlaxcala to identify a church at which to serve. Our focus will be repairs and improvements to the building, but our mission is really about connecting with our Methodist brothers and sisters.

This is an opportunity to form stronger bonds with your Wesley family, to create new ties to our neighbors to the south, to fellowship over laughter and good food, and to SAFELY “enlarge your territory” as in the Prayer of Jabez (1 Chron 4:10).

NO skills are needed; NO Spanish language required. All are invited on our mission team!

Information meeting: Sunday June 2

Come to an information meeting Sunday, June 2, 11:30am in the Conference Room, or contact Mona through the church office if you are interested or even just mildly curious.
