The film documentary about Norman Mineta is finally going to be aired on PBS. If you haven’t seen the documentary yet, please do. It is excellent!
Norman Mineta has not only been one of our most celebrated Japanese American representatives in the political arena on a local and national scale, but the Norman and the whole Mineta family have indeed been a longstanding family in the membership of our Wesley United Methodist Church here in San Jose. His years of public service have been so admirable and I cannot help but think that a part of his character was nurtured by decades of his and his family's involvement at Wesley.
If you have not seen Dianne Fukami and Debra Nakatomi’s documentary about Norman Mineta at private screenings, here is your opportunity to see it! The documentary is outstanding and so worth seeing, and worth encouraging others to see.
Please check your local PBS station for specifics on the broadcast showing of the life and legacy of Norman Mineta!
