Flowering of the Cross
We continue the Easter Sunday tradition of the “Flowering of the Cross.” You are invited to bring fresh cut flowers on Easter Sunday morning before 9am. This year those attending worship will be able to help mount the flowers on our wire cross which will be overlaid onto our large wooden cross in the Sanctuary during the worship service.
What flowers work best? Roses, carnations, daisies, or any flowers with stems at least 5 inches long and about 1/4 inch thick. Calla lilies and other flowers with large heads are difficult to stick into the wire mesh. Thank you for your flower donations!
Ongoing Small Groups and Bible Studies
Many have been involved in small groups and Bible studies during Lent. But did you know that several of these groups will continue long after Easter? It’s a great way to grow in your faith and get closer to God. We’re even looking to start some new small groups going forward.
For help in finding the right Small Group or Bible Study for you, contact Mark Teagle, Director of Spiritual Formation at <email@example.com>.
