CROP Hunger Walk

Crop-Hunger-Walk.jpg

WALK.   DONATE.   SAVE A LIFE.

We don’t usually think about when or where our next meal will come. We also are fortunate that we have homes to sleep in peace and safety every night.  Millions around the world cannot say the same. They have to walk to survive hoping to find water, food, wood for cooking, and shelter.

Church World Service organizes hundreds of local CROP Walks to end hunger in areas devastated by war, famine, or disease. Second Harvest Food Bank and Sacred Heart Community Services will share 25% of the donations.

You can make a difference. Join your neighbors on Sunday, April 22 at 1:00 as we gather together in the beautiful Rose Garden area for a one to three mile walk, stroll, or jog.

Please visit our Missions Info table Sunday April 15 and 22 to sign up to walk, sponsor, or both.  This is a great group or family event.

You’ll feel great knowing you cared and saved a life.
