Wednesday, July 26 - Card-making Please join us Wednesday July 26, 10am-2pm, in the Fellowship Hall as we make various types of note cards: iris-folding, pressed flowers, quilted padded cards, and a special kimono card. Please bring the following if you are able: scissors, glue stick, double-sided tape, Japanese papers, and pressed flowers. Don’t forget a sack lunch and a drink too. Also, if you requested a sashiko kit, we will have them at this session for you to take home.
Wednesday, August 9 - Machine sewing We will be sewing with Japanese fabrics and creating a clever kitchen-towel-hanger design. With time permitting, we might also sew our popular zipper pouches made from obi and kimono fabrics. Please bring fabric and/or thread-cutting scissors if you have them, as well as your sack lunch and drink. NO experience needed, we can teach you, and there are many other ways that you can help
