Throughout the day, experience a variety of entertainment across three stages featuring our city's famous San Jose Taiko performers, talented local youth and adults performing traditional or contemporary music and dance. The three stages are the 5th Street Stage (along 5th Street), the Kids Zone Stage (along 6th Street), and the Indoor Stage (inside the Sanctuary).

11:00 AM - Welcome and Opening with San Jose Taiko at 5th Street Stage - Our day begins with words of welcome and a special performance by San Jose Taiko. San Jose Taiko will be performing their longer program at 3PM.
11:15 AM - Chidori Band at 5th Street Stage, formed in 1953, is a 22-member group dedicated to performing Japanese songs for the community. The group performs a wide spectrum of contemporary Japanese songs, including enka, blues, Latin, and J-pop.
11:30 AM - Get Down Studio at Kids Zone Stage - focuses on hip hop and Latin street styles, including boogaloo, house, locking, breaking, salsa and bachata. Our classes range from preschoolers all the way up to adults.
11:30 PM - COSMO in the Sanctuary - began in 1998 with 11 members, with a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere. Currently we have about 35 members. Activities include holding annual concerts, attending musical gatherings and appearing at various charitable functions. We enjoy singing many genres of music.
12:15 PM - West Coast World Martial Arts at Kids Zone Stage - performs high-intensity Martial Arts demonstrations all over the local area. Their performances include acrobatic martial arts moves, highly choreographed group forms, creative open forms, and choreographed fight scenes.
12:30 PM - Wesley Jazz Ensemble at 5th Street Stage - plays high-energy/upbeat jazz music ranging from the big band standards of the 40's, blues, rock and roll, Latin, popular songs, and some J-pop songs. The band performs for various community events, street fairs, and senior centers.
1:00 PM - Hālau Nā Wai Ola at theKids Zone - is under the direction of Kau`i Isa-Kahaku in Japantown and has been in existence since 1997. The halau participates in competitions, festivals and community events throughout the year and has travelled as far as Italy. Students range in age from three years to our kūpuna (elders) and new students are accepted four times a year.
1:30 PM - Jake Shimada Ukulele at 5th Street Stage - Jake Shimada Ukulele is 15 years old and has been playing ukulele since he was six years old. He plays with the Kapalakiko Hawaiian Band as a Junior Apprentice and with the Wesley Ukulele Band. Jake performs Hawaiian and popular music.
2:15 PM - Wesley Ukulele Band at 5th Street Stage - The Wesley Ukulele Band performs traditional and popular Hawaiian music and more. We meet the second Sunday of every month at 1:00pm. Please join us!
2:30 PM Magic Makers at Kids Zone Stage - is a special needs band begun in 2008. They have performed throughout the Santa Clara Valley. They use the "Magic" of music to engage and bring out the singularly unique talents of their musicians and to entertain audiences.
3:00 PM San Jose Taiko at 5th Street Stage - has been mesmerizing audiences with the powerful, spellbinding, and propulsive sounds of the taiko. Inspired by traditional Japanese drumming, SJT has broadened this historical art form into a style that joins traditional rhythms with other world and contemporary music, including African, Brazilian, Filipino, Latin, jazz and hip hop.
