We
gathered at San Jose Airport at 5:00 am and boarded our
flight to Houston just after 6:00. We arrived in Houston and
barely
made it to our flight to McAllen. We were met in McAllen by
Carole
Lahti from Pharr United Methodist Church. We arrived at San Juan
United Methodist Church, just down the street from Pharr and moved into
our dorms. We then made the first of soon to be many trips to
Walmart. We also stopped to eat at Uncle Roy's BBQ which was
delicious!
Later that
night, we had a short
devotional and Wesley time and then stayed up late playing Apples To
Apples.
