Introduction

We are pleased to release Hymn Search, which is a new resource for worship planners who design bilingual or multilingual services that include Japanese and English in the United Methodist setting. With Hymn Search, you can now easily find a hymn in Japanese from five most popular hymnals published in Japan that matches your choice of hymn from the United Methodist Hymnal. Also, Hymn Search will help you locate the English version in the UMH that matches the hymn you have chosen in any of these five hymnals.

Hymn Search is the revised version of In One Voice, which we published in year 2000 with the help of the General Board of Discipleship of the United Methodist Church. The major improvements we have accomplished in Hymn Search are:
* Simple, easy-to-read comparison charts
* Improved chapter titles
* More accurate information
* Stored in PDF format for easy distribution and easy access
* Microsoft Access 2002 format available for more powerful search
