Holiday Treat: Wesley Jazz Band Plays Christmas Music at Community Monthly Gathering.

What an early Christmas Gift to our Wesley church members as the Wesley Jazz Band performed holiday music for us.
The brass section featured solos by Duane Takahashi, Michael Yoshihara, Melina Takahashi and Len Fujita, but you should have seen Ryan Miyahara on percussion and especially the bongos. Pretty terrific and I hear, it’s all natural and unrehearsed. Other band solo Peter Horikoshi.
Fresh off his Michael Jackson impersonation of "Billie Jean" and the moon walk, Trent Ueunten serenaded our monthly community lunch guests with his rendition of “Frosty The Snowman.”
Shizuko Adachi was a highlight singing “Away in the Manger” in English and Japanese, and Jeffrey Leap, the bands informative emcee, below, sang “Let It Snow.”
