	Shinnen Kai 2010
	This is the time that our church recognizes the elderly in our congregation.  We honor them for their work and sacrifice which have established families, churches, and communities for all of us who follow.  It is from our elders that we learn our traditions and cultural heritage, and whose wisdom continues to give guidance. On January 31, 2009, everyone is invited to celebrate the New Year, honor our elders, and enjoy traditional Oshogatsu food!  Nichigo and English language congregation members 80 years and older are our honored guests.  The congregation is invited to a delicious potluck luncheon and New Year's festivities.  Church members, please bring your favorite dish to share.
