Crop
Walk
2011
Do you want to make a
difference in world hunger and suffering?
Did
you know every 30 seconds a child dies from hunger in Africa, 90% of children have the HIV virus, and
thousands more walk miles to rivers for water, food, and bathing?
In
San Jose hundreds of families walk every day to soup kitchens and food
pantries. Why not join over 20 local churches and hundreds of
your neighbors who believe hunger is a crime against humanity.
On
April 3, Wesley Church
will join in the Annual
CROP Walk to Stop Hunger. Save that afternoon to walk or
pledge to walkers to raise funds for food programs locally and
worldwide.

Food for Thought:
"And
what does the Lord require of you, but to do justice, love kindness,
and to Walk humbly with your God" (Micah 6:8).
"I
want to share your bread with the hungry, open your homes to the
homeless poor, remove the yoke of injustice and let the oppressed go
free" (Isaiah 58). |
