Methodist Church will celebrate our 76th anniversary of Aki Matsuri on
Saturday, Sept 13, from 11am to 4pm. The church is located at 566
N. 5th

Enjoy food,
fun, and festive activities. Enjoy eating traditional
Japanese American foods — Hawaiian
style plate lunch, sushi,
chicken teriyaki, yakisoba, udon, BBQ ribs, manju and other baked
goods.

Our outdoor farmers
market will be filled with farm fresh
fruits and vegetables. There will be both cut and potted
fragrant flowers as well as beautiful
houseplants.
Inside our Fellowship Hall there will be many hand-made crafts.
There will also be new and gently used "White Elephant" items for sale.

Visitors can enjoy the
ongoing
entertainment including some great local talent with Wesley's
contemporary praise band "The 11:30 Band"
and our own Wesley
Jazz Ensemble. The Wesley
Ukulele
Band's will perform their collection of sing-along "oldies" and
Hawaiian favorites!
The San Jose
Taiko will perform in their
festive uplifting fashion and is an annual crowd pleaser. |
