Methodist Church will celebrate our 78th anniversary of Aki Matsuri on
Saturday, Sept 18 from 11am to 4pm. The church is located
at 566
N. 5th

here.)
People can enjoy food,
fun, and festive activities and eating traditional
Japanese American foods — Inari and Maki sushi,
SPAM musubi, chicken teriyaki, soba, BBQ ribs, chicken salad, hot dogs,
manju and soda and sno cones.

Our outdoor farmers
market will be filled with both cut and potted
fragrant flowers as well as beautiful
houseplants.
There will be many hand-made crafts.
There will also be new and gently used "White Elephant" items for sale.

Visitors will enjoy the
ongoing
entertainment including some great local talent with Wesley's own Wesley
Jazz Ensemble. The Wesley
Ukulele
Band will perform their collection of sing-along "oldies" and
Hawaiian favorites! Check back for more entertainment information

The San Jose
Taiko will perform in their
festive uplifting fashion and is an annual crowd pleaser.
